Fish house Rentals
North Mille Lacs Ice Fishing offers 25 beautiful fish house rentals for your stay out on Lake Mille Lacs. Fish house rentals are generally available for seven or eight weekends of the season. The houses are placed along the sand breaks by the first weekend in January, and then some of the houses migrate out to the mudflats as ice conditions allow. Fish House rentals are not available after the last weekend in February.
All fish house rentals are overnight sleepers and require a two-night minimum stay. Please bring bedding, bait, fishing equipment, and food. Plan to drive your personal vehicle to your fish house rental. We inspect the ice roads daily and maintain the road network in an effort to get you to and from your fish house rental safely. Ice Castles
Our 5 Ice Castles are the most luxurious option for a stay out on the ice. The Ice Castles are equipped with four bunks (one is a double), a refrigerator (21’ WHs only), microwave, stove with an oven and a television with access to shore-casted WiFi. The house includes an onboard bathroom. Generators – along with extra premium fuel – are supplied.

Skid Houses
Our 20 skid house rentals range in size from the two-person 8’x16’ to the ten-person 16’x24’. Staying on the ice isn’t the simple experience it used to be. Skid house rentals come with warm heaters, RV stoves with ovens, basic cooking utensils, rattle reels, catch covers, and either on-board bathrooms or access to conveniently located porta-potties. Many of our houses also come with WiFi (yep, even out on the ice) and internet-connected TVs. Generators – along with extra premium fuel – are supplied.
